hommecoming: creative alchemy
(Roots of) Creative Alchemy was a heart-centered gathering for BIPOC creatives and spiritually curious folks, hosted by @homme_coming at 736 Studios in Downtown LA. It was an evening of ritual, storytelling, sound, and deep connection — a space to remember where we come from and imagine where we’re headed.
I had the honor of filming and editing this recap, and my intention was to capture the softness, the power, and the magic that unfolded. From ancestral reflections to shared laughter, every moment felt sacred. The piece weaves together audio from the event, ambient movement, and grounding visuals to evoke the softness and depth of coming home to oneself. So grateful to have witnessed this kind of healing and creativity all in one space.
